Haley is a Fulbright Scholar, Truman Scholar, and U.S. State Department Critical Language Scholar lecturing at the Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará in the Brazilian Amazon. Her writing has appeared in media outlets around the world, including The Miami Herald and public radio. She is on a leave of absence from strategy consulting in Mexico City.
Before moving to Brazil and Mexico, Haley got a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. In her spare time, she loves to travel. She has been to 20 countries, including Lesotho and El Salvador.
Haley recently released a guide to help fellow young adults find and apply for cool, fully funded opportunities to travel, volunteer, and study in the U.S. and abroad. It is called Receive tens-of-thousands of dollars to travel, volunteer, or go to grad school. It achieved Best Seller status on Amazon its first week on the market and was named an Amazon “Hot New Release.”
